Two airplanes — which are assets of Saudi Arabia’s public investment fund — transported the assassination squad from Riyadh to Istanbul. So far, it appears the $400 billion fund is avoiding scrutiny. That might be because it generates enough financial incentives that authorities may want to keep any links between the assassination and the fund as quiet as possible.
