The Quincy Institute is a transpartisan “action tank” and communications project, established to challenge the decades-long obsession of U.S. foreign policy decision makers with global military dominance and war. Launched in 2019, QI works with progressive, libertarian and conservative partners to change the narrative around the United States’ role in the world.

Our vision is a United States where it is easier to end a war than it is to start one.

QI’s team is a combination of experts, investigators, storytellers, campaigners and foreign policy change makers. We have our own media outlet — Responsible Statecraft — a videographer and a media team with expertise across social and mainstream media platforms. QI hosts 40 Non- Resident Fellows, who expand our reach into universities and communities across the United States.
