Amir Handjani is a non-resident fellow at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft. He was a managing director of Pt Capita, an Arctic resource asset manager. Prior to joining Pt Capital, Amir was the general counsel of RAK Petroleum PCL, an oil and gas company with extensive drilling operations in the Middle East and North Africa. Amir currently sits on the board of RAK Petroleum. He was a fellow at the Atlantic Council and is currently a security fellow with the Truman National Security Project.
He is also a senior advisor to Karv Communications, a strategic communications firm with a focus on corporate communications, crisis management and public affairs. Amir began his professional career as a United States Department of Justice as a Honors Law Graduate where he served as associate chief counsel. He is a member of the District of Columbia and New Jersey Bars. He graduated from Boston College and Northeastern University School of Law.
