Bo Kong is a non-resident fellow at the Quincy Institute and a non-resident senior research fellow for the Global China Initiative at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center. He is also the ConocoPhillips Petroleum Professor of Chinese and Asian Studies and associate professor at the University of Oklahoma’s College of International Studies.

He is also a senior fellow of the Foreign Policy Institute of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies; senior associate in the Energy and National Security program of the Center for Strategic and International Studies; member of the advisory board for the Revenue Watch Institute; member of the international editorial board for the University of Kebangsaan Malaysia’s journal JEBAT: Malaysian Journal of History, Politics and Strategic Studies; and a member of the ChinaFAQs Expert Group.
