Natacha Polony is a non-resident fellow at the Quincy Institute and director of the review l‘Audace!, an independent quarterly focused on French economic recovery through domestic production. Born in 1975, she holds the agrégation in modern literature and is a former student of Sciences Po in Paris. She taught high school for a year, then from 2002 to 2011 at the Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci.

In November 2002, she joined the newspaper Marianne as an education specialist. She stayed there until 2009, then joined the editorial staff of Le Figaro until 2012. From 2012 to 2018, she wrote a Saturday column in Le Figaro. She also appeared regularly on various television and radio programs. In 2015, she co-founded the Comité Orwell with journalist Jean–Michel Quatrepoint, a think tank on media pluralism, which led to a collective book, Bienvenue dans le Pire des Mondes: Le triomphe du soft totalitarisme, and the creation of a web–TV channel, PolonyTV. In 2018, she was appointed editor-in-chief of Marianne magazine, a position she held until January 2025.

She is the author of several essays, notably on education and upbringing: “Nos Enfants gâchés,” 2005; on the search for a humanist feminism: “L’Homme est l’avenir de la femme,” 2008; on the crisis of democracy: “Sommes-nous encore en démocratie,” 2021; on the tyranny of minorities: “Délivrez-nous du Bien,” 2018; and a dictionary of political concepts: “Changer la vie”; “pour une reconquête démocratique,” 2017. In 2026, she published La France corps et âme.
