Nick Zeller is a non-resident fellow at the Quincy Institute, a research associate at the Second Cold War Observatory, and a senior program associate at the Carter Center’s China Focus initiative in the Office of the Vice President for Peace Programs. He is also the editor of the English–language “US–China Perception Monitor” website and is a podcast host for New Books in Chinese Studies for the New Books Network. Previously, Nick was a visiting assistant professor of world history in Kennesaw State University’s Department of History and Philosophy, visiting assistant professor of Asian history in the University of South Carolina’s Department of History, and an NSEP Boren Fellow at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He received his PhD in modern Chinese history from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
