Samuel Moyn is a non-resident fellow at the Quincy Institute and Henry R. Luce Professor of Jurisprudence and Professor of History at Yale University. His most recent book is “Liberalism Against Itself: Cold War Intellectuals and the Making of Our Times” (Yale University Press, 2023), which looks at the staying power of the version of liberalism that was constructed in the Cold War era. Before Yale, he held faculty positions at Columbia and Harvard Universities, and hails from St. Louis, Missouri.
